Growing up in Montreal, I was drawn early to understanding how people think, feel, and change. I went on to earn a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Master's degree in Counseling Psychology from McGill University, and began my career as a licensed psychologist in Quebec in 2003.
My clinical training started in the psychology department at Montreal's Royal Victoria Hospital, where I provided evidence-based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) for adults navigating major depression, panic disorder, and generalized anxiety. I also worked in an addiction rehabilitation center, where I developed deep expertise in Motivational Interviewing (MI) — a collaborative, compassionate approach that helps people explore ambivalence and find their own motivation for change.
After relocating to the United States, I joined Behavioral Health Network in Springfield, Massachusetts, working with adults facing a wide range of challenges including mood disorders, trauma, and substance use. I also served as a clinical trainer, delivering workshops and supervision in Motivational Interviewing to therapists, physicians, nurses, and medical trainees — an experience that sharpened both my clinical thinking and my ability to make complex concepts accessible.
In addition to CBT and Motivational Interviewing, I am trained in TEAM-CBT, developed by Dr. David Burns — a structured, highly effective approach that helps people identify and transform the thoughts and beliefs driving emotional distress.
Today, I offer telehealth therapy to adults in Connecticut, Massachusetts, and Quebec. I specialize in anxiety, depression, and addictive behaviors, and I bring to every session the same core belief: that change is possible, and that the right support makes all the difference. My approach is collaborative, practical, and grounded in warmth — helping you build real insight, develop effective tools, and create the kind of change that lasts.
